Sending money home, flying back for Christmas and shipping a balikbayan box are part of everyday life for Filipino families in the UK. Yet the answers are scattered across forums, Facebook groups and provider websites, and they are often out of date.
Pinoy UK Guide brings them together in one place, in plain English, with the fees and the small print laid out.
Who we are
We are a small UK-based team. We also run a small resort in El Nido, Palawan, so we deal with both sides of the UK–Philippines connection every week.
How we write our guides
- We check prices, fees and rules at the source and show the date we last checked.
- We say clearly when something depends on your situation and point you to the official source.
- We correct mistakes quickly. If you spot one, please tell us.
